(Fad) Diet Friday?

Love Happily. Live Simply. Lose the Weight.

Seven easy words to say but how hard are the principles behind these words going to be to live by?

Hello, I'm Shanna and I'm a food addict. And that is my problem with diets. I love food. I love the chewy pull of hot cheese on pizza, the creamy texture of desserts, the crunchy bits of fresh baked bread. I love the experience of food. So diets that cut out whole categories of food are like taking away my dearest friends.

After much hemming and hawing I have finally decided to join Weight Watchers.

I know, I can hear you. The program is expensive and it is only going to work if I work the program. I have talked myself in and out of so many things.

But I have to stop trying and start doing.

It is a journey.

A process.

One step at a time.

  1. I did weight watchers about 3 summers ago and honestly it WORKS!!! I didn't bother buying the food just kept a journal! It's awesome.

  2. I like my steak, but let me tell you this: those veggies are
    pretty darn good by themselves if you're eating them with the people you love. Not overflowing but not empty either (and still my kids complain "there's nothing to eat around here.
    Eberhard Faber was one of the manufacturers who
